McCarthy for me was the best manager we have had in my lifetime, I think maybe he just needed someone tactically astute alongside him. The way he sorted out the club after the mess Hoddle left us in was commendable. I was close to tears on Sunday obviously with the result but more so with the abuse he was getting from the terraces. Felt so sorry for him. Personally I would have kept him until the end of the season, but can see why the board acted as they did. The strange thing is if we do go down what better manager to get us back up then Mick Mccarthy. The board have a big decision to make now. If its Warnock or Bruce I won't be happy. Mick is better then both. Wouldn't mind Curbishley but would prefer Holloway. Anyway thanks for the memories Mick. Top Man. Good report Coxy.
